Shark Ninja:
It's been a while since I've seen Cringer, and I'm happy that he reappears. I like this introduction; it's low-key and pleasant, with He-man (or Adam) blundering innocently. It certainly lacks the over-the-top bravado that many of the other comics have from the start. This initial innocence and triviality also serves to heighten the drama that is sure to unfold later on, because it is such a stark contrast. By showing us a peaceful, pleasant Eternia, the comic artists are ensuring that the vision of war and fighting they paint later on will be all the more terrifying and visceral.
