Woop. Why did I do it? Well, I anticipate being asked this later in life when I'm escorted down to the police station, but I happen to have an answer ready now. Nostalgia and looking ahead. This deserves some explanation. I miss the BBS days of rabid message posting - it quite literally changed me life; the way I think, the way I act, and my worldview all got a swift kick in the nads (but a benevolent one) from learning how to express myself and share creative ideas with others without resorting to intellectual or physical violence. I hope to bring back a little of that magic here. I want to change things. Changing things requires looking ahead into the future as far as we are able - looking ahead requires knowing where we are know, and knowing where we are now depends on discussion. How can you know your position in the world if you do not speak with others? How can you know others' positions in the world if you do not listen? Please, use this space as an outlet for whatever is on your mind. No subject is taboo, no strain of conversation too ridiculous. Post much and have fun.--ZAPP
