Hm... The logic course I took with Dr. Ketner didn't really have a huge impact on me. While I
didn't know about EG and things like that, my understanding of logic has done for as long as I
remember about what it could do after that course. There was just one interesting disagreement
between logic according to people who know it better than I do and logic according to me. But I
don't even remember it now. Ah well... The only reason I had a good understanding of logic
before then, though, may be the logical exercises we used to do back in elementary in our gifted
program or something..
Regardless... Logic, I would say, is an incredibly useful thing. Logic courses aren't required,
apparently, but if there are people who do not have a basic understanding of it, it would
certainly be helpful. Unless you're going to argue for some other sort of society, or say that
ours is some other sort than I, in my unceasing optimism, still think it is. Which it probably
is. But I still like to .... forget entire trains of thoughts right in the middle. I'm tired.

I really like that line, even though it is depressing.  Speaking of depressing, Kenny, Derek,
get the new issue of 100 Bullets.  It is one awesome comic, and it stands alone real well. 
Although the new ish of Preacher was a waste of $3 and a small part of my life.  Only 2 pages in
it were even related to the story.  Fuck everything about the town of Salvation.  But anyways.
People depress me.  They really do.  Working where I do, I just see a lot of lives that just
aren't happy.  It makes me sad but at the same time it makes me proud of the human race.  We are
able to find happiness even in dire situations.  It's very heartwarming.
Also, I have a question to ask, especially of Kenny.  Why is logic worth studying?  I have a
stance on the subject, and I want to know what other people think.  We ought to be able to get a
good discussion out of it, and it might allow me the chance to challenge art as being
worthwhile.  Remember, I'm the one who thought the society in Brave New World wouldn't be too
bad.
Oh, and Kenny, the trip up ain't going to work out as planned.  It'll have to be later.  School,
work, etc.  But, it might be longer due to the fact that I have to wait.  Depending on how long
you can tolerate me.  I should've just e-mailed you about this, but oh well.
