getting in discussions, however heated, with people you totally disagree with - I think it hones
your own beliefs. I think that you look at how you believe in what you believe in every time you
try explaining it to someone else. I've gotten in totally obnoxious yelling sessions over things
with people I knew I couldn't ever convince and never agree with on that issue, and it also gave
me insight on what I don't believe in. it's like you give your thoughts a review every time you
try to convince someone else that you're right. you really convince yourself that this is what
you want to believe. I've done this, and many times, it's led to me changing my attitudes on
things, not because of someone else's arguing, but because I saw flaws in my own side of the
issue that made me wonder how right I was.
or maybe that's just how I do things and the rest of the world would think me a loon for saying
