Can you plug LCD glasses into that same dreamcast? Or a badass joystick? More than one joystick? Any style of mouse that you want? What about two keyboards? And using Virtual Boy as the golden example of LCD technology... ugh. I think it's best that we pretend that you never brought up that hideous, hideous hellspawn that is virtual boy. I never said ALL console systems are not backward compatable, just most of them. Please read carefully - I had the PS2 in mind for backwards compatability of console games. And yes, all PC games are backwards compatable. It may take some doing to get them working, but they can be made to work. Plus, the PC can play your PSX and PS2 games, but not vice versa. As for the Mac / PC issue : there are games whereby a mac version can play multiplayer with a PC version; however the PSX army men can't play with the N64 army men. Aww. Poor army men. There are some decent fighting games released for PC, but they never reach the same audience as console games due to advertising. I believe that PCs will change so that game writing becomes less cryptic - already we see the trend that hardware manufacturers are adhering to the same standards, so that game programmers don't have to worry about so many different hardware glitches that might crop up for the same OS. Things like the Microsoft DirectX libraries form a good standard for games to be written with on PC. Things will change in the sense that writing games for a console system will be just as dauting or UN-daunting as writing for a PC. Anyway, it's cute to watch you console jockeys squirm, so keep it up. What in the world could make you so blue, when everything I'll ever do I do for you? -Z--- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ---
