Well, it's three days until I move out of my parent's house, and I must say I
am very excited.  I went to Varsity today, to get my books for class, and
surprisingly enough, managed to have them all ready and waiting for me when I
got there.  they had ever single one.  out of four semesters, that hasn't
happened but this once.  I am really thrilled.  I spent the afternoon with
steven, my new roommate, shopping for an electronic chess set, which we were
unable to find anywhere.  while we were out, I broke down, and bought the
laptop I have been looking at for the past six months.  It is really really
cool.  I look forward to using it to take notes in class.  I am going to be
extremely busy this weekend with moving in to my new apartment, but hopefully,
I will be sufficiently set up as to allow for a housewarming party type thing
next weekend.  more on that as it develops.  this break has been too short, but
I am finally anticipating the coming semester with something approaching
pleasure.  good luck to all in the new year, and you know what????
